At Negotica Development Projects BCI technology is being developed with focus on completely paralyzed people, enabling them to improve in self-care and being more independent. This is project Carebro.

Pronounced as cerebro, this project is about controlling your house with your brain! It is done by using our Brain Computer Interface making a pathway between the brain and our open Smart Building System. With dry electrodes the setup time is less than a minute. Data is analyzed and processed by the system that is being developed in project Carebro. It involves a combinative of neural engineering and cognitive neuroscience. In earlier testing rounds we found out that accessing sensory-motor functions provided a quicker learning path. The person in the video uses hand
gestures which makes it easier for him to execute commands at will.

In our Building of the Future research facility all controllable equipment such as lights, curtains, doors and in addition a SMART Board and beamer are accessible in a menu structure in which you can navigate with your thoughts. When the desired device is selected, a single push thought is sufficient to turn the device on or off.
