Justice League Season 1 Episode 1 part 1

League Episode 1 Secret Origins As alien invaders (vaguely modeled after the White Martians from the DCU) who were accidentally awakened on Mars begin to take over the Earth, Superman and Batman rescue J'onn J'onnz who telepathically recruits Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, the Flash, and Green Lantern to defeat the invasion. Superman gathers everyone at the newly-built Watchtower funded by Batman (through Wayne Aerospace's R&D budget) and asks to be part of a team, which he dubs the Justice League.

I miss this show, it had epic story telling, complex writing, a darker tone than some other super hero shows, and was a lot of fun too watch.

@Fektthis Actually, martians usually don't do it with muscle. They usually have superior technology what hammers the point home. Besides now days it has been more accepted that Mars has been alive world once, but reasons unknown seismic activity has ended and with that magnetosphere has almost ceased to exist, in other words the planet has died. Recent Sci-fi martians usually are dormant race from time before the planet was turned lifeless, not so different from earthlings.
