Your opponent was pretty weak

@hunterandy You are correct in official rules it does not mention so, however in the college badminton league I used to play in it stated the service had to be made from and received in opposing quadrants. It also defined as the service being the initial contact point between the shuttle base and racquet head. I had never realized this wasn't an official rule, my apologies.

@atreyukicks Sorry, you're incorrect. I suggest you read the BWF ruling on services; as long as
-my feet are inside the service box,
-I hit it with the racquet shaft in a downwards angle
- and below my waist (which it most definitely is in all of these- my waist is the line of my lowest rib according to their rules and i'm hitting it by my hips.)
If these 3 points are met, it doesn't matter if I lean over into the other quadrant and hit it or not.
Even in a friendly we follow the rules.

@pete9129 The serves contact points are mostly in the wrong quadrant. The contact point of the serve must be done below the waist and in the serving quadrant. It's not a big deal though in friendly games like this one. It's the equivalent of your foot slightly touching the line...

hoping it's okay that i'm analysing this for my PE GCSE... please tell me if it's not.

U got a good smash

@910127 How the fuck is that serve illegal? He held the racket so far down, way below his waist. Stupid people trying to look clever thumbed this up.
1) Honestly, your footwork's pretty messed up. Work on that maybe, Glide through the Court, not Hop randomly in it.
2) When hitting the Shuttle, Try using your ARM. Not just the part Elbow down.
3) Contacting the Shuttle for Clears/Drops/Smashes/Slices should ALWAYS be at the highest point your arm and racket can go up to. 1 O'Clock position for Right-handers, 11 for Left.
Hope i helped.

Hey thanks for the comments, I don't quite know how you missed the caption at the first part of the video. there's more recent video's of me playing that are more relevant than a 2 year old video now ;)

Pretty much each of your serves are illegal.

@910127
I've just watched this, every single serve is about the level of the bottom of my shirt, no where near my waist, and all have the racquet pointing in a downwards direction. Please explain how any of these are illegal...
