@woodenmajor I don't know if I have "gut" feelings. From what I understand, yes, it's happening for sure. Humans are probably a big contributing factor. It obviously wont be catastrophic anytime soon, but it could be extremely bad within the next 100-300 years. ...but that's just my understanding. You may want to check with a climate scientist.

Long story short think of him as the Australian version of Glenn Beck, the guy himself has a reputation of deliberately distorting data or just flat out lie about facts, in fact he was actually sued for racial discrimination for falsely accusing a group of Australian Aboriginals scamming the welfare system based on the ethnicity they call themselves by.

I actually met Lee Doren in DC over drinks with a mutual friend. In no time past our introduction was he berating the environmental lobby, claiming he used to work for it (though he would not say when or where) and, much like a lawyer, tried to avoid direct confrontation when I asked him about his reasons for the argument.
