Testing New Pen Spy Cam

This is a video showing some test shots of the pen spy cam I got. It functions as a color video/sound spy cam and a real pen that writes. The cam can be perfectly hidden in your shirt pocket, or anywhere else for that matter.

It unscrews into a USB compatible plug where you can plug it into your computer and upload/manage your videos. It also recharges when plugged into the computer. It has a 4gb capacity.

Sorry about the noise level when I am unscrewing the pen. The microphone is sensitive up close.

Please see following instruction:

USING THE CAMERA FUNCTIONS:
1. COMPLETELY charge the device with the USB charger provided.
2. Press the button on top once and the pen should turn on on ready mode. The yellow light should turn on
3. Press again the button on top. The yellow light should turn off and the Blue light should turn on. This means that the pen is now recording.
4. Simply hold the top button to stop recording. The blue light should turn off and the yellow light should turn back on. Recorded file will automatically be save.
5. Press and HOLD the top button for 5 seconds to turn the device off. The yellow light should turn off.

PREPARATION IN ORDER TO VIEW MOVIES:

FFDSHOW is recommended for viewing the recorded files in Windows Media Player.
In conjunction with Windows, when the pen is plugged into a standard 1.1 or higher USB drive, Windows will automatically detect it and install the drivers.
Once installed a window with several options should appear, select the option just above the bottom option: Open Folder to view files.
o If it does notwork; first locate the drive the pen is plugged in. If the drive is named E:\ Double click drive E:\.
At this point you should see a single Folder named Movie. Double click it, and then double click the Record folder. You now see videos that you have recorded. If the vide ois not working properly, you must install FFDSHOW

*Note* you will need ffdshow to view these movies using Windows Media Player.

USING FFDSHOW:
1. Firstly search and download the latest version of FFDSHOW program
2. Locate the most recent version (Latest year possible) and click the .exe file. (Not the src zip file)
3. Save the .exe file and when prompted open and install FFDSHOW.
4. Restart your computer. The program will not function correctly until you do the next step.
5. Hit your windows button on your keyboard. It looks like a flag with four sections. This opens the Windows start menu.
6. Select the All programs option. Then Select ffdshow program. Then click configuration. This will open ffdshows configuration for videos, movies or other media.
7. Once the configuration window has opened, check ALL of the boxes under the Codecs tab.
8. Then, check all of the boxes on the left side marked Post processing, Picture Properties, Offset, Blur, Sharpen, Noise, Subtitles, aspect and crop Miscellaneous.
9. Now close the program by selecting APPLY.
10. When you will insert your device the next time on your USB port, open a video with Windows Media Player. You should view the video just fine.
