Australian open 2008 was one of my favorite tournaments Ever Since Ive started watching Tennis..!!not cause masha won it but also because of the great Quality matches like this one were happening..!!

It rocked until Hantuchova choked out a 8-0 lead in the Semi's! I lost all respect for Ivanovic after that one.

From these highlights you can see that Anna is a much better player than Kirilenko, the way she strikes the ball is effortless power and accurate. Kirilenko has to work so much harder for her points. It is not as natural for her. I don't like the noise her racket makes when she strikes the ball. Hopefully both start playing better in 2010.

I enjoyed this match when I watched it on TV... good to see the highlights. I like both of these players but it's fun to see them play against one another, they both have good movement and don't make too many stupid errors. I just wish they would play this level all the time.

I was at this match, I snuck in because it was raining that day, and I was so happy to see Masha win. :)
I also saw Federer beat Tipsarevic 9-7 in the 5th Set, and all for a $20 Groud Pass when it should have been $100+ to get in.
An AMAZING day.
