White House: Budget deficit to top $1.8 trillion
•about four times the record set just last year
•the government borrowing almost 50 cents for every dollar it spends this year
•The country is becoming insolvent.
a)The government is borrowing money we have no means of paying back,
b)Destroying the dollar by creating money out of thin air
c)Raising taxes when business is plummeting and
d)Spending more money than ever when tax revenues are dropping
•Something has to give. If you think a central bank can recklessly print currency thats backed by nothing without consequence, please research the Weimar Republic or Zimbabwe.

  • The sad thing is that most people in this country don't care and don't want to get involved. They just don't want to hear anything negative about anything. It's called the ostrich effect.

What the government is doing is illegal, the leaders that vote in deficit spending are breaking the law. They need to be tried and put in prison.

  • They'll care soon enough.

  • coorporativism is just other name for facism

  • Corporatism is a component of fascism. Corporatism is an economic system. Fascism is a soco-economic and political ideology.

  • There will widespread social unrest eventually in this country due to this depression that we are now just entering- but it will take awhile for the sheeple to wake up. There are probably less than 50,000 people in this country who have any idea about how bad this economy is, and where it is going! Even this number might be too large- i have co-workers who just shrug when I try to talk to them about what is coming!

  • We have 300,000,000 people in this country. 50,000 seems .00016%. I think it's greater than that. Maybe 5%. So I'll say 15,000,000.

  • Look at who the deficit is to, ie, who USA borrowed money from.

Most were led to believe it's China.. it isn't. It borrows from the American hyper rich.. who then charge interest to get even richer.

For decades they took all the money, wages did not rise yet productivity soared.. USA was ripped off by Ron Paul, Cheney and Bush.

80% have less than 7% of wealth left.

Right wing shits in the Rand psychopath cult hate democracy & right to know.

You're a fool if you rant off their corp lobby junk.

  • People paying rent is a bad way to raise capital for HOME LESS shelters they should ask for donations from the community. The person who suggested it should lose their job as it's absolutely ridiculous.

  • I understand your thinking. I am a former Independant whom would lean more to the republican side primarily because republicans in general seemed to fight more to keep our constitutional rights somewhat intact, however in seeing commuunities in a degraded condition and understanding that it was essentially cold hearted not to lend welfare or assistance to those whom were less fortunate i always found myself feeling like I was playing mental ping pong on what I should do Id like to chat w you.

  • blah blah blah..man what are you talkin bout?..shut up!

  • I really hope the Republic can be restored and we can get rid of the corporate and banker rule.

  • Word.

  • I totally agree 100%

  • I'll go with obligarchy. But, all democracy means is that people vote on their representatives in government. Mob rule. The difference is that in a proper democracy, the citizens vote for those who only run the police, military and law courts and do nothing else, if that. I do not think democracy=freedom. Individual rights=freedom. Democracy is simply the only proper way to elect officials, we should not be voting on different ways to take money from some people and give it to others.

  • IMO, it is the nonsupremacy of individual rights that is the problem with democrats and republicans alike. If property rights were upheld, we would not be in this situation. Whether it is the intention of those in power or not, it is the country's socialistic and altruistic tendencies that undermine our freedom and therefore our prosperity.

  • Well they're all an obligarchy, not a democracy.
