The role of Clerks within the Brigade of Gurkhas has been officially recognised with the creation of a new company. It means for the first time the Brigade will have their own Gurkha SPS cap badged clerks. In 2009 the go ahead was given for the formation of a new Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support or SPS company. In addition approval was also given for a new Gurkha SPS Cap Badge and tactical recognition flashes. The new company were presented with their cap badges on a rather wet and blustery evening in Shorncliffe by General Sir David Richards in his role as Colonel Commandant of the Brigade of Gurkhas.

  • Gurkhas know for British and Gorkhas for Indians are Nepalis and have created their own stand throughout and know for their bravery and loyalty. Its really good to see the Britishers honouring them . But in India nowadays people are jealous of them but they dont have any option because for for India this is the only Regiment who has fought all the wars right from WW1 and protects them. Recently many Gorkhas/Nepalis has been asked to leave India from the north eastern states for no reasons.

  • Gurkhas are great, if we just had a few thousand more...
