http://www.uni-hildesheim.de/index.php?id=2603 In the times of the dark middle ages the development of science was unbelievable exiting. From the heritage of antiquity and from Chinese and Indias findings we see in easy understandable ways how to use ciphers and digits. Examples presented by performed scenes and computer animations of exellent cultural performances and construction of buildings (f.e. Dome of the Rock, Jerusalem) are leading through cultures and centuries. The islamic scientists stimulated the revival of the european culture. Calculating with pebbles on lines changed to the arithmetic way of calculating with digits. Migration Period, black death, inquisition all these were barriers, but at last with knighthood, crafts, the Hanseatic League and the foundation of universities European culture boomed. The time of exploration was setting the end of the middle ages, modern times had begun. In 64 minutes with 700 scenes - shootings from 12 countries - an adventurous and entertaining history became alive.
