Now it is my pleasure to present my first FEATURE-LENGTH movie upload on YouTube. I saw that nobody has uploaded this, so I decided to.

It is The Wizard of Oz, a 1982 Japan-animated film, but is only recorded in English. It stars Aileen Quinn (Annie) as Dorothy and Lorne Greene as The Wizard.

Not to be confused with the 1939 MGM movie we all know so well, this is probably the most faithful adaption to L. Frank Baum's original story, although the red slippers are borrowed from the 1939 movie.

Enjoy this movie. I'm sure for some of you, it will bring back memories. For those who have never seen this before, you're in for a treat. I really like this adaptation. I think you will, too.

  • @amsooldnot i take back my earlier comment.

  • "i never get tired, and i never ever sleep" am i the only one who found that creepy

  • @Garrettk41 Boq was a munchkin who allowed Dorothy to stay at his home her first night in Oz.The Tin Man's name was Nick Chopper and his origin story is very different.

The creators of the musical version of Wicked clearly never picked up a single Oz novel. They changed way to much lol

  • If this would happen to me, I would definitly think I'm stoned to the bone..

  • when i saw the tin man i was like ''what the? thats the tin man ? he looks like a robotic Lincoln!'' then when i heard his voice i was like ''really ? that voice is supposed to match that body?'' there ruining my favorite wizard of oz character ! :(

  • @mxgross

Welcome to the world of Accidental Nightmare Fuel.

  • @EuroMIX2 This is a movie for children! The males are not meant to seem scary!

  • @EuroMIX2 haha hopefully the lion isn't such a creeper :)

  • @jenluvjake

And it's just as bad when the Tin Man says "could you oil me all over please miss?".

Why does Dorothy have to end up hanging around with such creepy older males? D:

  • is it just me or is it a little creepy when the scarecrow said "i never ever gat tired andi never ever sleep"
