    Well, it's the rooting part that's not faster. Also, rooting and ROMs aren't for everybody. Not everyone wants to void their warranties or have to deal with sometimes buggy software. For the people that DON'T want to root, there's this method. :)

    Some people don't and don't forget, some launchers like MiHome or GO Launcher don't give your device the stock Android look. Either way, it'd be dumb to make a video about themeing your phone and leaving out the biggest part -- the launcher.
