This video is my interview of the newest member of the Japan YouTube community and overnight success, Mr. Jim Mullins. Jim and I work together and I have for a long time been encouraging Jim to buy a video camera and try his hand at YouTube. I have always known that Jim would fast become a popular YouTube contributor as his personality, wit, experience in Japan (he has been here for over 20 years) and wealth of interesting life stories provide many of the most important ingredients for the making of "must see" YouTube videos. Jim finally made the move and created his first personal YouTube channel on Saturday, November 6th. Jim then promptly created and uploaded his very first video to his shiny new channel with zero subscribers. Jim promptly shut down his computer and went to bed, never realizing the impact and attention his video would soon garner on YouTube, the Internet and even international television. I'll leave it at that and let Jim tell you the rest of the story which is an exciting example of how YouTube can impact the lives of average individuals and vice-versa. In parting I'll invite you to view the video above and if you like what you see then please consider visiting and subscribing to Jim's new channel. He currently has only a handful of subscribers though this is sure to change quickly should Jim decide to begin creating and uploading content in earnest. I have included some helpful links below which may assist in keeping this already fast moving ball in motion. Congratulations, Jim! I wish you all the best as you move forward with your new channel on YouTube. ~Kurt
