Amitabh Bachchan angry with Media over SUV criticism

Media had carried a story about The Bachchan family, that the Bachchans are often seen driving around in their sport utility vans (SUVs). Amitabh Bachchan owns a Lexus SUV and is often seen driving around in it to work and even to social events. Not just Bachchan Sr, even Abhishek and Aishwarya are seen in their bulky SUVs zipping from their studios to home. Infact during the recent award function for which Big B is a Brand ambassador the family was quite vocal about their concern for the environment.

On this story Amitabh Bachchan went furious and slashes out media in blog. It seems Big B got so angry that he has pointed Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to stop using SUVs in his convoy. He has pointed at Mukesh and Anil Ambani, Ratan Tata, Mr Singhania, the Jaypee Group, the Videocon Group and all other corporate groups to stop flying these environment polluting gas guzzlers.
