@shirleymae30 Your theory makes absolutely no sense. The power company makes money by selling you power. If they mandated you use less they would make less money. Use a little common sense and stop thinking big brother is out to get you.

Smart meters are going to be used against you !!!. They are going to establish a baseline of electrical usage per household !!!. Then they will start mandating drastic reductions of the home's allowable energy use. It is very similar to the methods that the governments used to steal away all of the fishing rights from all small boat commercial fishermen. Every few years they would keep doing 40%, 50% or 60% reductions of our days at sea, and catch limits. now we are alloted 0% catch,+ 0 DAS.
