@andrewb773: I'm afraid you're simply mistaken. I'm a Presbyterian, and this is the first time I have ever heard "spirit" used in place of "water." Baptism is one of the two sacraments; we would never diminish it. Please do not increase the troubles of an already troubled church by looking for imagined differences.

"Spirit" and the word? An evangelical distortion of the original lyrics "Water" and the word. An evangelical denial that Baptism is the necessary foundation of the Body of Christ.
