  • I've been playing, well a long time.lol. but I have found some serious gaps in my education and i'm thinking maybe a i need a structured course to get me over this bump in the road i've came to. will this course help me with that? or is it speratic imfo. on different styles.

  • Hi - the course we have on nextlevel guitar dotcom is an amazing structured curriculum - you will love it - try it out for three days as we currently have a three day free pass on the home page - give it a try and enjoy!

  • dave ,, isin't this the same as the Dorian mode ??

  • Hi - no the dorian mode has one interval difference than the aeolian or natural minor - dorian has a major 6th and natural minor has a b6

    dorian - 1,2,b3,4,5,6,b7

    aeolian- 1,2,b3,4,5,b6,b7

    rock on!

  • i respect what you guys are doing, and i do think you are great teachers..

but i really do believe that this is the wrong way for people to learn. i think its great for people that are happy just learning a few licks etc,

but its really hard for more serious players to see the "big picture" this seems to be the case with most online lessons,

this is only my opinion, and im not trying to say im right and you're wrong

i just think all this is irrelevant without understanding how scales work etc.

  • I like the harmonic minor better personally

  • Seriously David, this scale has totally changed my lead playing for the better,I added a few pull offs and some slow bends and it all works great together. Thanks so much. G

  • 4:26 BRASS MONKEY, THAT FUNKY MONKEY

  • i'd like to find a teacher like you : good job man keep rockin!

  • This guy needs to listen to Soothsayer at least 100 times before making a lesson...

  • yeah nice... but your bends are out of tune :/

  • You're my favorite teacher on here, I been playing for years but I just play every instrument to accompany my singing... Anyway I decided to start learning some lead stuff so I can sound better soloing. I appreciate your input it gives me a shortcut to getting where I want to be... Thanks for not being annoying like the dude with a thousand screen names.....

  • so natural minor = relative minor?

  • That's a great bend!
