Cute prototype. I assume you'll want to make a much bigger one with a false bottom that won't get moved around by the stirring mechanism once the grain and water have been added.

Does your beer ever have a Cardboard after taste? I only ask because it's said that over stiring will oxidize then give off tastes...

Does it have enough torque to actually stir the grain bed and water??
Does stirring the mash increase the efficiency of your extraction?? ( I guess it would eliminate the "path of least resistence" issue )
