I explain what a Googol is (10^100) and I explain exactly how big that number really is.

Yes, Google.com got its name from Googol.

  • This video would be a lot shorter if you just recorded a video of you stepping on a scale.

  • Just noticed this response.

That was actually pretty funny! :)

  • I heard this before, but not so elaborately. Good job.

  • Thanks. Wikipedia mentioned that a googol was more than the number of atoms in the known universe, which stunned me. So I had to do the math to see how that could be. The rest of the arguement was mine. :) Glad you liked it.

  • Yes a Googol is big but there is a number called Googoldecaplex notated 10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10^100 being 11 levels of exponent. But what if you have a number with 101 levels of exponent like Googolcentiplex, you could notate this like 10^(101), but what about a number like 10^(1,000,000,000,000,000), it could be notated with 10^(10(15) and a number like 10^(10(1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) notated 10^(10(10*27). Something to really think about.

  • @IAbortionsTickleI THe world would be a lot better if you'd step off a cliff!

  • If you think a googol is big you should think of googolplex and googolplexian.

  • nothing is close to inifinity except the volume of the "invinsible," blanket that increases which started the big bang. lol Its still increasing.

  • Avogadro's number=6.022 times 10^23=1 mole of atoms lol im bored!

  • Cruel, but funny, some people take the weight funny :D

  • Fuck, that's huge!!!!!!!!

  • wow thats a big number but a googol is nothing compare to infinity.

  • That's gold, Jerry! Gold!
