Please travel in pairs or trios in Cornwall, make sure one of you has a video camera, the only way is to fight back expecting the worse. Don't wait till others are killed before implementing it. You couldn't believe it when the Americans shot British officers in the Revolutionary War, believe it. A boy was killed recently in Oxnard, California, because of gay hatred. Don't wait to protect yourself. Please.

I visted Cornwall with my partner few years ago for the first time. A beautiful county but I found the Hotel we stayed was very unwelcoming and hostile to us as they worked out we were gay. Never returned back because of this. However, I have seen and read an increase of homophobic hate crime increasing thru out England in the past year. keep up with the fight with the Police they have a duty to investigate all crimes but Cornwall seem to me very backward in this field. Very sad
