  • Kind of... excessive? Why not just open a window with these things? If the crystal stores so much data, put it inside the computer.

Oh, right, that's not new, exciting, or trendy. That's just more storage space. We need to emulate TV logic in order to impress people.

  • @TheBSG I was just thinking the same thing but hey microsofts multi touch screens look a lot cooler this look like a cheaper version.

  • Nothing new your using the Microsoft Windows Table-top p.c. with software and small pieces of glass using rf chips to recognize the function of each one. Many stores around seattle are using the same technology in bars when one places there drink down on a table it tells the contents of the drink and the facts behind it as well as the price. Nothing new here at all.

  • there's nothing that you can't get in a store. a touchscreen LCD, and a realy fancy software. ofcourse you also need an engieer's mind and abilities. there's no reason to think that this is a holographic cristals

  • its not MS microsoft wouldnt give their software to a competior like sony. Microsoft is making surface and this is their main opponent

  • wer u get tat!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • WOW.... who knew this would actually happen in the future?! this is fcking crazy///// looks like from a sci-fi movie

  • Ummm...

If anyone watches 2057, these are holographic crystals.

They hold huge amounts of data and are probably going to be the most common data storage type in the future.

  • isnt the point of having this technology, so we dont have to have piles of discs or in this case peaces of glass. i would rather have a folder i could pull up with thoughs things in it.
