Why blame Nancy? she died a while before him, possibly because he stabbed her. Its alot fairer to say she'd still be around if not for him.

I don't think that Sid is a hero or icon BUT I loved the Sex Pistols and the fight for individuality they made. i think it is so sad that Sid died (probably because of Nancy & v/v) but he was a nice person just f***ed up with heroin (courtesy of Nancy). He couldn't sing or play either!

Sid was a true hero of my generation and could have become a star but died so early. It is nice to see that kids of today respect him - belive me Sid was just super cool ....

Will everyone stop arguing because of all this Sid & Nancy? We wouldn't have both of them in any way. Sid always said that he'll die young or that he'll die before 25 so he could do everything he ever wanted to. And Nancy was already a junkie and would still die young.
So If you respect Sid - respect Nancy too, cause he loved her more than life. ALSO, On October 12 1978 Sid couldn't be more innocent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
