I dont know how the more expensive cables sound, but I used the MIT 2 and the MIT MH 750 for a couple of years, I changed cable to a coax based cable and it blew them away. There highs sound muted and pushed back, and the really low bass was not there, but that was just my take, Im sure the high priced cables are leaps and bounds better.

It sounds counterintuitive to ad any additional electronics into the signal path, but somehow it works.
I started with the avt series and heard a slight improvement in soundstage and "body".
I've since moved up to the shotgun series and the soundstage and bass have improved, and the tonal balance is better.
They are very expensive though, and you need pretty high resolution equipment to hear the difference.

I bet that these cables would be good for over 100' lengths but nothing less.

I Love MIT cables, I will eventually use all MIT cables. Since their cost is very high it will take some time to get there.
OHHHHH I was going to be nice, but this Lady's voice is killing me!!!!
