It's ADHD Awareness week 2009. and we want to focus on strengths that lie in inattentive, hyperactive, but also curious and passionate mind: Hyperactive dreamers. They are often seen as incapable, slow and lost, but also as exceptionally competent and bright individuals.
The personality of hyperactive dreamers is highly influenced by their emotional condition the emotional zeal. It enables them to experience something related to their interests strongly, which takes them to the state of deep concentration or hyperfocus. That quality gives them an artistic trait because when they do something, they do it passionately and fully focused. On the other side, once they get involved with something considered monotonous and boring to them, it might make them lose interest so they become lost or even shallow.

Can you repeat

What did you just say, can you repeat
A thought in my head, moved your words away

Im driving racing cars, designing music
Through my emotions I think, with clarity

Can you repeat, I missed the point, oh no you got me wrong
My mind was here, in my idea playing around and very clear

Can you hold on? I need a break, your talking makes no sense
Give life to your story, just spice it up, cause Im dry, dont have my flame

I need to move around, to be serene
I cant be still like a tree, having lots of energy

I want to sail the world, to leave my trace
When I dream I live, away from uniformity

To find myself
I need a life

To find my life
I need my heart

To have a beat
A human beat

Its what it needs

My heart needs to dance

Hyperactive dreamer, thats who I am, I dont need to change for them
I do things on my own way and all I need is just more play

Hyperactive dreamer, thats who I am, I dont need to change for them
I do things on my own way and all I need is just more space

  • @TheFutard fUCK U tard i have very bad ADHD and it isnt lazyness i took meds treatment therapy it did fuckk all yes thats true but i cant concentrate my brain is overly hyperactive chemically imbalanced its hard for me to learn on exams a freeze so go and fucking smoke ya weed pipe btw i had it since i was 8 months u got nothing on me wanker

  • Oh, please. And all the parents with ADHD kids think their little angel is the next Mozart/Einstein... Yeah, right.

The source of my bitterness? I have ADHD, never treated. You know how I got through school and college? Daily planners, Post-Its and monthly schedules. Writing on my hands so I don't forget. No b*tching and whining, no meds - coped with it since 1st grade. Now it's trendy to diagnose your stupid/fat/lazy/disrespectful child with ADHD... Sad.

  • It does xD I don't have problems being still when I think about something nice and what intrigues me (well sometimes xD) But when i feel a bit bored in class, or when i know i must stay still in classroom i start to shake my leg my arms, my head sometimes...

  • This song makes me feel really weird since I supposedly have ADHD but most of the traits like being unable to stay still for the most part have dissipated. When I sit down in my classroom seats, I find it severely uncomfortable so shake my leg and move my toes around but I dont think that has to do with ADHD.

  • the last part is really hyperactive! ha ha! love it!
