  • big air ? and continued high speed ?

  • Bambi flies flat and true...suspensions are an interesting game of compromise...to fly flat you make wheelies harder. If you build the car to wheelie, they fly with the nose up and land hard on the tail...a buyer must decide ahead of time what abuses the car is most likely to enjoy, then design for them. Safety first.

  • as described above is bambi priced at $165,000 ? are any other options avaiable that would be nice ? and comfort or performance enhancers ?

    possibly full hydraulic steering ?

thanks for the info ! possible windshield ?

  • I wouldn't know where to install any other "Comfort enhancers", she is already loaded...GPS Nav, IPOD docked head unit that plays through Icom, 4 Head set Icom, Shortwave, Stainless cooler rack, motorized hood and light bar, 7 EagleEye HID lights...

  • The Fortin Steering setup is full Hydraulic, Sweet valve, Howe race pump. Stainless steel side steps, sliders on front seats, billet everywhere. Pollished skid plate...it goes on and on and on....she is fully dolled out at $165K...

  • Of course, as with most of our builds, if you don't see what you want...we custom build just about every car. currently designing a 27+" true travel a-arm front with less that 1 degree caster / camber change throughout travel. E-mail me an invite request and will get you an e-mail adress that way...500 character or less replies are a pain.

  • Know wonder there's no family pics!, I'd be having too much fun to even think about it.

  • For us, the decision was easy. Our cars are intended to allow the owner as much up-time as possible. We can accept 900 HP at wheels instead of 1100 if we can run the car all season without need for frequent clutch changes.

  • Advantage of torque converter: With very high horsepower applications clutch life is very short, forcing clutch changes more frequently than desirable to maintain optimal performance. Installing a torque converter is a compromise decision. You lose effective HP at wheels, but do not need to change clutch pack every four or five trips to dunes.
