@hellodable i'd use a d/a with a foam pad on a low speed, but if your not used to using one i'd just keep doing it by hand. it probably wouldn't be a whole lot faster anyways but it'd be easier

@93bradley would you recommend doing it by hand or by machine .. i use the yellow meguiars pads and its slowly doing the job but takes forever

@93bradley Well i have the same probs good thing is i told him to do 3 clear coats .. ive used ult compound by hand and its working very slowly i havent got a polisher machine so i do everything by hand but it looks like its working .

@hellodable well i had a piece painted on my car and there's a section where he missed it with the clear coat, he did a overall terrible job, but i'v done a lot with paint car exteriors (buffing, polishing, waxing, pretty well everything) but if there's no clear coat i cant see it doing much.

is this compound safe to bring a freshly painted area mattee finish to a shinny coat on a car ?

@Bigkbballer0708 A buffer goes in circles so although going in linear motions is better it isnt a bad thing if done right.

any time you touch your car. whether it be washing or polishing you never go in circular motions!!!!!!!!!!! always in linear motions .. up and down or side to side

I picked up whole package, did the hood of the car with rotary buffer, Man do I need to practice, it came out ok but just ok. Practice makes perfect. I have done cars by hand many times but rotary buffer is just another ball park.

I bought this stuff from Walmart yesterday along with the Gold Class Carnuba Wax from Meguiar's, I cant wait to use it. I picked this compound simply because its name. Its the Ultimate Compound from one of the most respectable exterior cleaning companies. I cant wait.
