@trinthakias i think it is a great experience. caught my first small marlin when i was 8 and it will be a long lasting memory for me. what makes you think that a child shouldn't catch larger fish? it hooked me to sport fishing and plan on teaching my kids when i get older. yet im only 15 so what do i know....

the fish was ultimately killed in order to be weighed in, just be disqualified? when will people learn that rules, especially petty useless ones, do nothing more than create more chaos and confusion.
