  • It is advisable that you walk them and then trot for a few minutes at least, so that you don't stretch the ligaments to quickly causing injury or lameness. This is very needed in colder weather when the horse needs extended warming up prior to working under saddle.

  • everything about this is so wrong! O.o

  • I wish that horse would let loose all his mistreatment and pain and kick her face.

  • what rubbish! the horse did a downward transition to trot on its own! so much for obedience training which really is the purpose of lunging

  • @doctorcane not true if taught calm calm will be calm no matter what the breed, I do thoroughbreds that i breeze as 2 yr olds and all go out of the stall walk to the track and trot when asked and cant when asked and all can trail or race well the next day! training isnt about pedigree it is about training. a horse is a horse is a horse. I have done thousands and fixed hot horses said to be scared or spooky all by training properly and in 3000 horses never had to EVER lunge one to ride one.

  • A fat redneck horsemaster , fml.

  • oopsie you just let your horse dictate to you which way it wanted to go.

  • umm u dont seem like u love horses at all

  • @scoohey I get where your coming from. I can't use a whip on my horse because he is terrified of them. He was a wild horse so maybe from when he was mustered he got the fear for them. Lunging can benefit the horse and rider as the rider can check for lameness and movement, good for the horse as it gets there muscles warmed up and its a bonding time too (if done well and rider is communicating with the horse)

  • @limitedchoice yea! expert village sucks

  • @MegganSays ! its your fault that she bucks cause you havent developed dominance over her and showed her that bucking is not acceptable
