This is a very rough demo of a riff I wrote yesterday for a project that I've been working on with Alex Wilson (from Sleepmakeswaves).

We're in the process of writing an album which I hope to finish at some point next year, and I figured I should upload a quick video partly to affirm that I'm still around, and partly as a teaser for this (as yet untitled) project.

As I said, this is merely a rough demo, so please excuse the dodgy mix and some inexplicable face-pulling at the end of the video. Not quite sure where that came from.

I believe that this is also the maiden voyage of my new Kramer Striker 100ST (right-hand guitar) into the YouTube world. For a 20-something year-old piece of plywood played through a POD, I'm pretty stoked with how it sounds! Hope you enjoy the video, -F.

  • nice. is the neck on the 100st flatter like a jackson?

  • @bguy75 Nah, it's actually a bit bulkier than the Nightswan (fairly sure they have different nut widths, so that might be a factor), but more or less the same kind of C-shape. Definitely not as fast as a Jackson/Ibanez-style neck, but a lot more fun to dig into a nice, chunky riff on!

  • why you like kramers so much man?

  • @acompres The necks and the looks, basically - what's not to love about a pink single pup shredder with a hockey stock!?
