  • @CurtisMateer Thanks for the compliment, Pete. Coming from you, that means a lot to me. I never heard of Blaze either until JP recorded this song. This open mic venue is actually a church building that was converted from an old VFW hall. Some of the members are musicians and they made a nice stage with sound and light equipment. I played there off and on for about 6 years and it was an "open" mic in the true sense of the word. Unfortunately, they stopped having these about 2 years ago.

  • Nice picking and harp playing too. This Blaze guy seems like a sort of Van Gogh figure. I only heard about him after he died, then I started noticing him everywhere - Lucinda albums, a doco advert, footage of TVZ singing and playing along with him...You look like you're bringing the truth of the street to that coffee house judging by the banner in the back, Good fer you :o)
