Install your game to your hard drive, so your Xbox will play it off the hard drive and the noise will be lower.

I've encountered a chainsaw-like noise once, but it never happened again. No RROD or any Errors. Except for game errors because of the CDs.

Dude mine has the same noise. It gets louder when playing a game, but it doesn't bother me much cause once i start playing, im so concentrated that i forget about the noise.

if i were you id put it in a big metal box while your wearing protective armor lock the box up with about 10+ master locks and chains go to the other side of the country to the ocean run away back home lock the doors and hide in the closet

The camera makes it sound really loud!! In real life is about 3 time quieter.
