Radio promo ad #1 for Bad Tour 1988. Video featuring my ticket stub and t-shirt (plus a way old Pepsi can, lol) . This (and the two others uploaded) were played on Colorado radio stations to promote the three Denver shows, March 24, 25 and 26 at McNichols Sports Arena (aka 'Big Mac'). I was lucky enough to attend the first show. It was the only time I was blessed with being in the audience and witnessing the most amazing entertainer the world has ever known. I wish I could've seen him again at the O2. We were to attend two shows in London. God bless you, Michael. We miss you and will love you forever. You have my gratitude and my heart eternally.

P.S. If anyone out there has ANY news footage or ANYTHING recorded of the Denver Bad Tour concerts, please pm me! We didn't have a VCR and I have never seen anything. If you can't upload it, maybe on a DVD via a DVD recorder? I have never found anything from Denver online. You'll be my new best friend, promise =;-)

  • Oh my goodness I didn't know he came to Denver!! It always seems like we're not even on the map, no one pays attention to Colorado but he performed here TWICE?! Ahhh ok freaking out here

  • @crazy4corbinbleux The Jacksons did two shows at Mile High Stadium on the Victory Tour in September 1984 and then Michael did 3 shows at McNichols Arena in March 1988 :)

  • Thank you so much for posting this!! I live in Colorado...but dang it, I was only 4 in 1988!! I still love to know that he was once here!! ♥

  • @kbluem15 He was also there in 1984 for the Victory Tour :) September 7 and 8 and Mile High Stadium. I wanted to go soooooooooooooo bad, but my parents whined about the cost, so I was stuck at home crying both nights, listening to The Jacksons Live album on my walkman and longingly staring off in the direction of Denver. Around that time the Jacksons took a bit of a break and spent some time at a CO ranch (not sure exactly where, would have to look it up).

  • ahhhh i get so mad.!!!!!!! im only 13 years old and i LOVE mj hes all over my room and hes even on my family wall, but it kills me to kno that im never gonna meet the man that love or at least see him, and theres so many lucky people out there that got to see him like 15 times and all i ever saw was pics and videos!!! i know theres other people like me out there and i know you feel the same way.

i just wish i could have met him, at lease once.

  • @yoheily26 I can understand that more than you may believe. I only saw him ONCE and that was over 22 years ago. I know once is better than never, but I also think about all the folks who saw him so many times when I've loved him since I was 12, back in Thriller times. Later I was in the US and didn't have money to travel overseas for Dangerous or HIStory, so never saw him again. We had 7th row tickets to TII in London :*(

  • Nice ad!

I saw the Bad Tour live in Gothenburg Sweden. I was 15 years old and I was obsessing about it for years. What great memories. There was just so much anticipation and magic back then...

Michael was on Top of the world.

  • OMG!!! I am 16 and I wish I was you! I got this shirt you're showing but I bought it :'( I wish I was older so that I could go to his concerts!!

  • i say fuck all those wankers that like to badmouth MJ. they are narrow minded shallow people with out no empathy whatsoever. They can't take this away from Mike. he was an unreal entertainer, he delivered the whole package. brought people together, broke barriers, made people think. his music is in a class of its own. dancing is mesmerizing and hypnotic. you can't believe he spoke and acted like a kid of stage. on it, he's a mental man. Mike, you are the greatest, and a childhood hero.

  • 1 person has been trying to do the moonwalk for 30 years and still can't do it

  • Król jest tylko jeden!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Król żyje:)

  • iwas there!! i was ten years old and never was ever closer to the king of pop! was an amazing performance, and i wish i could have seen him again!!!

  • I was 8 and I just knew at that time who M.Jackson is;)

  • @dirratt I also saw him on Dangerous Tour and HIStory Tour. For me Dangerous was the best one...but hey it doesn't mean that HIStory was not good. It was spectacular...just felt slightly as a repeat of Dangerous. Never saw Bad Tour but believe it was his best!

  • There is no excuse for me to have missed MJ on the Bad Tour. I was a fan, old enough, (19) I had already seen Madonna in '87, and Def Leppard twice in '88, so it isn't like I wasn't independent enough, and I drove. I guess I always thought there would be another chance. It for me was the best looking and sounding tour, with all of the vocals live and utterly amazing. I love him now more than ever.

  • My Dad Saw The Victory Tour,September 7 at the Mile High Stadium :)

  • @begodsglow OMGGGG. HE EVEN CAME FOR THE BAD TOUR?!?!! *dies*
