hey dont listen too him he obviously doesnt know how a rotor works. the less back pressure you have on a rotary the better unlike piston engines where you need some back pressure so you dont fuck up the valves

@Texassince1836 Rotory motors do not have valves, they have intake and exhaust "Ports". Okay. You find me a rotory motor with a camshaft and valves and I will call you a liar.

@minibikerider1 The rotor and "eccentric" shaft are not one piece, rotorys do not have a crank shaft.

@metallicman711 I love rotaries. By the way i couldnt care what u think of.

@KPAracing lame.

@aerobubb1 im a kiwi and that is why i love trademe you find the best stuff

just port it and fit a BIG carb and megaphone exhaust and calculate the length etc.
adapt a snow mobile belt drive maybe?

@furmaster212 what the rotors are built into the crank shaft the speed of the rotors is the same as the shaft

@copkilling745 they can also replace exhaust valves after every run, and have different cams than most motors. All motors need some backpressure for exhaust valves, and piston engines need more due to cam timing. If you took a factory truck that made 250 horsepower and 200ftlb of torque and toook the exhaust manifolds off, itd make 300 horsepower and 100 ftlbs of torque. Backpressure helps with torque

You need a little backpressure on these motors fr ehaust valves. Piston engines need a lot more backpressure because most cams open the ehaust valve 60-70 degrees before the bottom of the powerstroke, which kills torque without backpressure. Drag racers and monstertrucks cams open the ehaust valve later, reducing the need for backpressure.
Imagine this little screamer with a turbo and a racing kart. Jajaja.

thats exactly what I have planned for the second engine! Im going to make it a bridgeport turbo and fuel inject it, I have a kart frame in the shed for when I get to it just need the turbo, ecu and gearbox,
