    ... It depends. This particular species is not known to be medically significant. BUT some people have different reactions... So what may just cause an itch for you will put someone else in the hospital.

    C. exilicauda is VERY similiar in appearance and it is known to be a medically significant scorpion. This scorpion also resides in the united states.
