your music lives with the world eva <3
-
nice version of this song more jazzy blues than blues though it is essentially a blues song very different to other versions ive heard
-
Her blues styles reminds me of Janis Joplin. Of course, all the ladies who sing blues are playing to the style, but the ones who stand out (Pearl Bailey, Janis, Eva, and many more) ake the style and add their own "twist" to take ownership. The wonderful thing about Eva was wshe did this with all genres of music. I hope she found a personal relationship with Jesus and that she now is singing with the angels.

Man, does this woman have the talent, feel, and interpretation for this song! I simply love her and wish I had been there to witness this performance. Absolutely priceless!

thats true talent right there. shes perfect. has the most beautiful and pure voice I have ever heard,
-
Heartbreaking to know 10 months after this performance, she would pass away from cancer. It makes this song more poignant.

Thanks so much for this video. I was recently introduced to her music, and OMG! I love the Live at Blues Alley CD. Her story is touching. What a talent. I had been wanting to watch her perform.

Dear Lord, Please take Lady Gaga away and give us Eva back.

she can sing it all, soul, blues, country, pop - everything suited her voice, and she suited every genre. Hope she is looking down from her special place, and knows how much people love her voice, her soul, her grace and her talent. Sad she struggled so long with melanoma which finally claimed her and took her away from us. RIP Eva, long may you and your glorious talent live on
