Tanker 506 Responding

Video of Tanker 506 Responding from Coles District Volunteer Fire Department (Station 6), in Prince William County, Virginia.

Dispatch was for a Tanker Task Force in 15's due for a possible structure fire on the mountain at the Fauquier County line on January 9, 2009.

Note: The tanker had to stop in the median because a red Volvo was travelling at a high rate of speed headed northbound on 234 and was not going to be able to stop in time for the piece to pull out. Good heads up driving by the operator to see that coming!

In Prince William County, K is the unit designator for Tankers/Tenders because the unit designator T is for Truck Companies (ladder trucks)

@farmtruck551 Yes, and if more people would read this they would stop calling everything a TRUCK< ITS NOT A TRUCK!. Engine, Tanker-Pumper Tanker -Aerial, and Ambulance, not Truck!!! Engine Company, Truck Company, get it????
