  • I only need to access the Cpu to replace it, do I have to disassemble that much:

  • I forgot to look for simpler ways to access my CPU when I follow these steps, but why don't you try to follow the steps from 4:38 onwards, let us know if you're able to access your CPU from there.. all the best ;)

  • I did this to my Acer 3690. I also upgraded the CPU to a 2GHZ Core 2 duo!

  • Did not know that the cpu could be replaced. I'm gonna upgrade to a 2.6 processor if my 5507 can handle. Very good video and informative.
