http://www.ted.com Chris Anderson, the editor of WIRED, explores the four key stages of any viable technology: setting the right price, gaining market share, displacing an established technology and, finally, becoming ubiquitous.

TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers are invited to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes -- including speakers such as Jill Bolte Taylor, Sir Ken Robinson, Hans Rosling, Al Gore and Arthur Benjamin. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, politics and the arts. Watch the Top 10 TEDTalks on TED.com, at

  • why is it that the title somehow does not actually really explains the content of the video? am i wrong?

  • Not only that, but he has absolutely no charisma and public speaking ability.

    Uh...uh...uh...

Crutch words are only acceptable if you're a dynamic presenter people!

  • I like the way he reminds me of things that are important trends. If you are in the music business (like me) I recommend that you read his excellent book The Long Tail. Also check out The Attention Economy by Davenport & Beck (Harvard Business Press).

  • i expected to hear something about long tail trend in technology...but this it completely different:/

or perhaps i am on the wrong track...

  • Nothing really groundbreaking here... in fact, nothing original.

  • Unfortunately I believe this man to be less interesting then the other Ted talks out there. He seems to re-iterate basic economic principles. It may be my own shortcoming, but I find this drab.

  • this thought was brought to you by Nestle

  • TED tis teh leete57
