Amanda "I played at Oxegen" Brunker inspired me a great deal when I saw her recent music festival appearance. I was so inspired by her performance that I purchased one of her books, Champagne Secrets. Here I review the book in a "humourous" and "entertaining" manner. I hope you enjoy the video. I had tears in my eyes as I read this book. It was a compelling indictment of the excesses of the Celtic Tiger era, reminiscent in many ways of Bret Easton Ellis' seminal novel American Psycho,not least for its graphic incest/rape passage which opens the novel and gives the reader but a taste of what is in store. In years to come it will be ranked alongside American Psycho as a book that captured the zeitgeist of the drug fueled hedonism and serial killer fetish that engulfed the nation in 2008.
