April 12 2011 - my second test ride of this new Triumph bike. I presently own a 2010 BMW F650GS and I am just checking out the competitor. Nice bike but would like to take out the XC model but there are no demos.

UPDATE:We have been riding the Tiger XC since June 29th 2011 on loan from Triumph Canada and we love the bikes. Check out our BLOG. Got back August 11th 2011 an gave the bikes back to Triumph!

We have taken them all over the Yukon, Alaska and BC. Still on the road until Aug 12 2011

  • real foggin style 2 drive a bike->organ donors

  • @schickpack what?

  • just knocked up the first 500 odd miles before 1st service. Brilliant all rounder. Off to wales with it soon. Mine is the white 800 road version which came with a supprisingly lovely matt black frame. Front suppesion is not as you said in your video, ajustable.

  • @thetwosixes glad you like your bike...when I mentioned the suspension I meant the preload not the front end. We took the XC out and I like the wider handle bars and riding position better...also we like the beak. The street version needs the beak to look complete...in our opinion. Nice bike though we must agree!

  • Much higher center of gravity...the tank is under the seat of my Beemer...this was the Street version and felt like my Honda CBF1000...smooth engine for sure. The Beemer feels a bit more rough engine wise. This has more HP so feels more powerful. We have dual Sport tires on our bikes so our bikes have a bit if a vibration on the highway. When I had the Tourance tires I would say both bikes run smoothly on the pavement.

    Overall...really nice bike. Should be compared to the 800GS,
