I am afraid that the Repuglithugs are going to rape and pillage all of the social services safety net that had been erected since the Great Depression. We can no longer trust that Congress and the President will acknowledge that Americans need help to live because of circumstances beyond our control. HOW TO NOT BE POOR: finish high school, dont break the law, and dont have a baby until you are at least 25 years old and in a financially stable committed relationship. the reason liberals hate this comment is that it does not involve taxpayer money or another government program. poverty is a personal responsibility problem not a public policy problem. welfare makes and keeps people poor.
