Cat Power @ The Fillmore, San Francisco - 2011 Feb. 04 - pt. 01

first song of the night. apologies for the shaky cam. chan seemed very, very anxious at the beginning, but i heard she warmed up later in the night. if anyone can tell me the name of the song, it would be great--unless it's new, of course.

i was only able to record a few songs (originally planned to record most of the set) because one of the people i was with passed out!! we were in the front row and chan saw what happened... she stopped midsong and said, "i think we need some help down here." it was a bit scary, but she turned out ok. we eventually caught up at the end when chan was tossing out flowers to the audience. she also waved back at me right before she went backstage!! so yes, the show was really super. quite the experience.

if anyone recorded anything from the last half of the set, pleeeease upload!

i'll also be uploading three videos from the opening band-- THE MEEK-- really liked their sound.

@Peskajumba people were "woooooing" because this was the first song; the band was 30 minutes late and the crowd's just excited/drunk/antsy/whatever. we did eventually shut up. :/
