Prop 8 is simply bad. Plain and simple. And absolutely: It's wrong to eliminate fundamental rights, and all it does is to hurt our relationships, our families, our kids. That we even have to FIGHT over this in 2011 is absolutely shameful. Prop 8 has been deemed unconstiutional and I have confidence that this status will be upheld. We need to stop legalizing hate, discrimination and bigotry at the national level. Marriage equality NOW.

ONCE AND FOR ALL: California state law specifically says that NO ONE can be taught about family against their or their parents will. IF someone wants to be taught about family, instructions and materials shall teach RESPECT for marriage. That is not the same as "gay marriage will be taught in public schools"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

would it hurt you in any way? no.
so get over it... if someone was trying to not allow you to marry the love of your life, you'd be pretty pissed about it and alot of people would be supporting you and trying to get you to be allowed.
no on prop 8 is supporting a huge number of people trying to marry those they love. and be considered equal to everyone else.
so grow up. and see love for love not be so blind as to think its impossible for two people of the same sex to be in love.
