Mostly in the beginning, yes. It is weird. But then he sings the rest spot on and with such brilliance and richness in his tone. It is so rare to hear someone actually sing this piece as though they are actually exalted. He has the voice and style to actually bring justice to this where 90% of people hired to sing this just croon.
