Look! I've been primarily a guitar player for most of my 58+ years, but I gotta congratulate you. You took, in my estimation, one of the best of Floyd Cramer's greatest songs and made it your own. Great job!

Hey, man, I'm not in competition with anybody else and trying to beat anybody else's talent. I taught myself this song totally by ear (no sheet music whatsover),and I just play it in my own way and probably never the exact same way twice. Floyd Cramer is the greatest piano player in history, in my opinion, and I would never insult his talent with mine!! But thank you for your comment!! Happy Holidays, Bryan!!

I like the way you play this. This is a great classic and you added the right touch to make it your own.

Wow!!! Thank you so much. I really tend to add my own little stuff on most everything and not just mimick the original artist to a T. I'm sure it annoys some people, but I have fun with it, and I guess that's all that matters!!! Thanks for the nice compliment!!!

I've been working on that song on a hammered dulcimer. Where did you get the background music? Is it Band-in-A-Box

The "background" music is from my keyboard. I has a 16-track sequencer that saves to floppy disk. And so I just start with scratch with the piano part, and then I go back and add each instrument (bass guitar, etc.) one at a time, and then when you're done, it does sound like you have a little band right there!!
