Terrazzo Flooring is HOT. This video will show you the proper way to remove tack strips. New Terrazzo Cost $25.00 per sq foot and higher. If you have terrazzo you are luck. Restore it and participate in the green movement.

  • @bddtmm Good luck you are going to be happy that you are going to take the time to do it the right way.

  • Thanks for the info, the job's gonna suck, but it's better than holes in my basement floor. Plus I get a new tool!!

  • @kingkyzr I heard of people just pulling the nails out with a pair of pliers, but you will need to be very careful and work slowly. Because by just pulling it out you will create a crater size hole. The terrazzo around it will break. The crater size hole is the most common repair there is because most people that aren't experienced with the process just rips out the strips and then the terrazzo floor is left with a big hole. I suggest you remove the holes like we showed you in the video.

  • why can't you just pull the nails out with a pair of pliers or hammer?
