HOW TO MAKE A REALLY EVEN BIGGER SLIP'N"SLIDE

Finally! The long awaited sequel! As you recall, last year, we had four whamo slip'n'slides glued and taped together in our backyard. This worked well even though we have only a slight downhill slope, but we still had a little room left over on the lawn! So first we added slip'n'slide #5.

We tried a simplified DIY using only two sided scotch paper tape. This worked great for a few weeks, but then the sides started pulling apart. So we took this apart and cleaned off the gooey old tape (and the melting generic Duct tape) with paint thinner, then we went back to our old method: 1)cut off the bottom of the slip'n'slide 2)glue the two sides together with about 6 inches of overhang (downhill) We use Goop, but maybe some other glue would work better (more research needed) 3)tape the bottom parts together with strong duct tape 4) cut off the old hose-attachment (so no one gets hurt sliding over it! 5) put your garden hose at the top and start slippin and slidin! we've learned it's important to keep sand off your slip'n'slide (wash the little ones' feets off after the sandbox!)

my 10 year old and 7 yr old made a short stop motion animated demonstration of indoor slip'n'sliding, and they recorded an original song and a cover of "Crazy" by gnarls barkley

(this video is for people who want to make a long slip'n'slide, but who don't have a big hill, or don't want to build a huge chute off their roof while their parents are away) (and who don't necessarily have soap or oil or alcohol available)

p.s. we made the ramp out of spare pieces of 2 inch insulation board, and glued them all together with liquid nails (it took a long time to dry with all the rain) then we filled in the gaps with "Great Stuff". seems pretty sturdy so far...

is the water comin from the 1st slip n slide or extra sprinklersif the water is comin thropugh all the slides through the center hose u should b more spacific on how 2 hook it up or eles i think u have 2 much ETOH in ur system FAKE
