Just a quick video on some lightweight collapsable/folding eating utensils I use. This might help you when creating an lightweight backpacking cooking kit.

There are pros and cons to each item.

  • Nice

  • Still hard to beat a cut down, drilled out, one piece lexan spoon at, .21 oz. depending on how short you want to go. The regular lexan, full weight, without holes drilled in the handle is .30 oz. Of course, it doesn't fold. Oh well . . .

  • REI is the best.

  • @RoscoeBa that happens with pudding as well:) i just use the tin foil that covers it and fold it into a spoon:)

  • I always wanted one of those Camp Knife - Fork - Spoon - Can Opener in one

  • I need to keep one of those in my EDC bag. I often find myself with yogurt and no spoon ...or spork. :-)
