As I'm a big fan of the Nickelodeon cartoon series THE MIGHTY B!, as well as classic Paramount/Famous Studios cartoons, I've done this experimental video for fun (as well as for editing skill research), using several materials to create a credit sequence, imagining what it would look like if THE MIGHTY B! were created as a classic Famous Studios cartoon, only produced in 2008!
Completed last night in Flash, this took me 5 to 6 hours to assemble. The music is the standard "Noveltoon" main title music from veteran composer Winston Sharples. Recreating the Paramount cartoon logo from the 40s-50s was probably the most difficult part of the process.
This would be the imaginary credits sequence for the series' first episode, "So Happy Together."
Is that from booomerang or something old

Interestingly, Mighty B's graphics are similar to the graphics of the early '60s Famous/Paramounts.

The theme is Winston Sharples "Noveltoons" theme (also featured in Paramount's "Modern Madcap" series after 1958), used from 1955 through 1964. "Noveltoons" were often "one-shot" cartoons, and also featured regular characters that didn't warrant their own separate series [unlike Casper and Herman & Katnip]...including Little Audrey, Baby Huey and Tommy Tortoise & Moe Hare. The pre-1959 "Noveltoons" are known as "Harveytoons" these days.

Excellent work ! I'd love it if more modern cartoons had this sense of style and excitement in the opening credits (and of course the rest of the show, too !) .

@ryuuseipro You know this credit sequence and the other Fleischer/Famous Studios opening credit sequences would make sense for today's Nicktoons considering that Nickelodeon is picking up where Fleischer/Famous left off in terms of animation production(on TV at least)and both of the aforementioned studios are owned by Paramount Pictures. Could you please do these types of credit sequences for the other Nicktoons as well?

All that's missing is the MPAA certificate number and the IATSE logo (Cartoonists Union).
