Take A Look Over Your Shoulder

Cycling along the A11 near Stratford currently there are roadworks with the bus lanes closed in both directions. Some cyclists seem to feel that they still need to use the bus lanes where they can however there are sections that are completely closed, such as where the pavement has been blocked by the works and pedestrians are directed to use them. In this clip we see such a cyclist who I'd sussed was going to merge back into the traffic without so much as a look over their shoulder. Simply relying on your hearing (assuming you don't have your headphones on) won't alert you to an approaching cyclist. This little look is often referred to as a 'life saver' with good reason!
