.N81LM-"November-8-1-Lima-Mike" is a Piper PA-32 Cherokee-6, a six seat private aircraft Co-owned by Joe O'Keefe. This video is part of a four part video showing pre-flight, taxi, engine run-up, take-off, flight, landing, refuel and hanger storage. This round trip flight was flown on Sunday morning June 20, 2010, showing our flight from Fresno Chandler Airfield in Fresno California on an Easterly flight over Shaver Lake, Courtright Lake, and Lake Wishon with views of Millerton Lake, Edison Lake, Florence Lake, and Pine Flat Lake. Filmed and "narrated" by Joe's friend Richard Kinney. Views of the Western Side of the South Central Sierra Nevada mountain range are seen. At one point Richard points out the "back side" of Mt. Tom, Basin Mountain and Mount Humphreys (looks kind of like a conning tower for a submarine) which are the dominant mountains viewed from his home town of Bishop California in the upper Owens valley. This video shows the proper way to pre-flight an aircraft and the reasons why. Flight time was 1 hour and 8 minutes. Quote of the Flight from Fresno Approach control tower: "N81LM radar contact, cleared to Chandler Field and Happy Father's Day". Created on July 8, 2010 using FlipShare.
